Which makes them that much more flexible for home gardening. Herbs are being planted as well and they’re being used to spice up the cooking. Some popular examples are basil, thyme, oregano, parsley, cilantro, and mint. Whenever planting edible plants though, mind the bugs! And be wary of diseases as well.

Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, landscaping is a form of home gardening. It covers a lot of different areas and forms of gardening. Even mowing your lawn be seen as landscaping. On that same note, landscaping nearly always includes decorative grasses. Which come with a great benefit, they don’t require a lot of work to keep them tended. Monkey grass, pampas, buffalo grass, flame grass and ornamental millet are among the more popular types of decorative grasses. Landscaping isn’t limited to plant life, it also includes everything you do to your yard, such as decorations. Like adding rocks, stones, building a small pond, statues, and waterfalls as well.

Comparing gardening with home gardening is a bit foolish because they pretty much are exactly the same. You still need to water the plants when you’ve planted them in a good location.
